Bodegas Teneguía

Bodegas Teneguía

Located at ‘Plazoleta García Escámez’, Bodegas Teneguía is one of the most representative wineries on the island and in the entire Canary Island archipelago. This winery produces wines under the ‘Teneguía’ label, and is a member of La Palma’s Designation of Origin (DO), the body that oversees the quality and production
process(es) of the local wine sector. In fact, Teneguía was the very first winery to adhere to the DO. This winery is also the oldest operating as a cooperative entity in La Palma; it has fulfilled this important function for as long as 65 years. Bodegas Teneguía produces wines with grapes delivered by its numerous members from most municipalities around the island. The winery produces white wines of excellent quality. Teneguía’s reds ‘Negramoll’, ‘2001’ and ‘Tinto Crianza’ have gained well-deserved recognition, as well as its rosé wines.
